After six years of work whenever I could between work and classes, my first truck is back on the road. After blowing up the motor I committed to a simple small block v8 swap, things snowballed. This truck now sits on an f150 chassis, has a 300 cid inline 6, a custom flat bed, and has proven itself capable of hauling on road and off.

The single most reliable vehicle I have ever known. It is the reason I started 3d printing, taught me how to rebuild motors, change tires, repair wiring, and fostered my love of motorcycles. My life’s journey is inextricably linked to this machine. The only part that I have not serviced, refurbished, or replaced is the rear shock; I’m sure ill get to it soon.

What started as a bike to get me to work while I restored my DR350S, proved itself to be a project all of its own. Now my partners first bike, all it took was a starter rebuild, top end rebuild, ignition system overhaul, fresh paint, and lots of wiring.
